Gail is the Director of Masters's Programs in the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV). Concurrently she teaches lodging operations and human resources management courses on the graduate and undergraduate levels. The hotel operations and housekeeping audits developed by Gail have been successfully used in both chain and independent properties -- small and large. These audits are adaptable to all levels of hotel service. Gail co-authored a Front Office Operations and Auditing Workbook which has contemporary academic and industry application. She has conducted extensive research on: lodging operational audits, training, organizational citizenship behavior as a predictor of work performance, and satisfaction with benefits and job commitment issues. Gail presents training sessions to both small and large groups of managers, nationally and internationally.

Prior to entering hospitality education and consulting, she owned and operated The Glacier Motor Hotel in Cut Bank, Montana and worked for the Boyd Group as Restaurant Manager and Food & Beverage Controller. Gail is a member of the American Hotel and Lodging Association, National Restaurant Association, Council on Hotel Restaurant and Institutional Education, and Society of Human Resource Managers.
