Timothy Lam, BS, MIBS, MS is the Vice President of Hospitality Experts Consortium, LLC and the Director of The International School of Hospitality.
Tim is a bilingual, hospitality and marketing professional with a BS in Business Management
from Wake Forest University, a Master of International Business degree focusing in International
Marketing from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Science degree in Hotel
Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Tim’s business experience includes
six years in marketing for a Swiss plastics company in Washington DC. Prior to his arrival at
Hospitality Experts Consortium, he served as Housekeeping Manager at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas,
where he was in charge of all housekeeping operations for a 1,044 room tower.
Tim is co-author
of "Pre-Deployment Practices for International Internships", published in the conference proceedings
for the 9th Annual Asian Pacific Tourism Association Conference in Sydney Australia.
With lengthy
educational and working experiences in both the business and operation ends of hospitality, Tim possesses
an ability to balance the requirements of improving service standards while maximizing profitability. A
native of Hong Kong, Tim is fluent in English and Chinese.
